I feel like but like it’s like so like idk like it’s like not like but like idk...

Concrete wall, bent wooden frame, text, 2024
Cesarcos always manages to create a story, a meaning, with minimal phrases and few images - for example in his work: "Fragile Images That Keep Producing Death While Attempting To Preserve Life" in which he shows a series of black and white photos of blossoming trees and bushes.

a wooden frame (on the wall), an object made of cement (standing somewhere in the room)

The light-coloured wood of the frame draws fine lines into the air and on the wall of the room: The shape is roughly borrowed from a tryptichon. The two sides of the frame are asymmetrical and not bent at the same angle – giving the longer part more time to go into the room, whereas the short side is relatively strongly bent. Since there is no object for the frame to frame, the attention immediately falls on its materiality as well as on the video displayed on the wall within the frame.

In contrast to the light and easy characteristics of the frame, the cement wall seems heavy and rigid. Only its thinness, 8 centimetres, gives it a bit of an optical airiness. Written with pencil on the cement wall, the work is ‘subtitled’ with the sentence “I feel like but like it’s like so like idk like it’s like not like but like idk...”
