my work

My work is primarily based on sculpture, text, and research.

It navigates the intricate interplay between the mundane and the absurd, exploring the ways in which objects, emotions, and narratives can intersect to create a layered dialogue. Through sculptures that combine materials like glass, metal, sand, marzipan, and nylon with elements like 3D-printed objects, Plexiglas, popcultural references, and personal pictures I aim to deconstruct and recontextualize the familiar.

Language and text also play a significant role in my work, serving as both a medium and a subject. Whether through titles, written components, or embedded narratives, I seek to challenge the relationship between language and object, questioning the process of interpretation, metaphors and associations. This link to the literary world is further deepened through inspiration from poets like Richard Siken, and theoretical texts - which prompt me to work with nuances within the written words.
